Player of the Game - Team Nike

Patrick Beilein tossed in 13 points in West Virginia's hard fought 104-101 overtime loss to Team Nike on Monday at the WVU Coliseum to earn our player of the game honors.

Although Beilein was not the Mountaineers' leading scorer on the evening, he played an excellent floor game and set his teammates up well with nicely-timed passes.

Beilein had eight assists against three turnovers on the evening, and added a steal and three rebounds to his total. He was 5-6 from the field, including 2-3 from three point range.

Beilein was one of six Mountaineers in double figures in the high scoring contest, which seesawed back and forth down the stretch. the lead changed hands eight times during the hard fought overtime, and ended with Team Nike's Keith Friel's three pointer with less than two seconds to play.

WVU fans will recall that this was not Friel's first game winning three pointer at the Coliseum - he hit a long range bomb to give Notre Dame the win a few seasons ago in a Big East clash.
