Assessing the Defense

West Virginia defensive end Zac Cooper wasn't thrilled with the performance of the Mountaineer D in Saturday's 48-21 win over Villanova, but he did see some positives in the rotation of players up front.

Cooper, who had five tackles from his defensive end position, thought that West Virginia's line rotations worked fairly well against the Wildcats. However, he admitted that the Mountaineers have a lot of kinks to iron out before next week's matchup against East Carolina on the road.
