The answer to that question would seem to be "no". Following an early season sub-standard shooting game, Ruoff hit the court afterward and launched hundreds of shots. And after WVU's ragged 53-43 win over Cleveland State on Saturday, Ruoff, despite having to make a semi-emergency move to point, was again unhappy with his play.
While most people would have been satisfied with Ruoff's line, which included five points, four rebounds, three assists, a block and a steal at an unfamiliar spot, Ruoff was not. He spoke of his uncomfortable feel at the point, and set goals of continuing improvement if the Mountaineers are to be the force they hope to be in the Big East.
In this audio clip, Ruoff discusses the challenge of moving to the point and how it affected WVU's offensive flow.
