Three in a Row

For the third consecutive week, forward Da'Sean Butler has earned a place on the Big East honor roll of performances.

Butler again led the Mountaineers in scoring during a 1-1 week. He averaged 22.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and shot 63.6 percent from 3-point range as West Virginia defeated St. John's and lost to Louisville on the road.

In Big East play, Butler is averaging 20.8 points per game - the fourth-best mark in the league. For the season, he now leads the team with a 17.4 points per game average. He also tops the team in offensive rebounds with 47, and has moved his free throw percentage to 75.6% -- second on the team. From the field, he is making 48.1% of his shots, including 43.8% from three-point range. Both of those figures are also team bests.

This week's selection is Butler's fifth overall appearance on the Honor Roll list.
