WVU's fearless freshman hit three big second half three pointers to fuel West Virginia's comeback win over Gardner-Webb.
Pittsnogle had eight points to power West Virginia's 19-0 second half run against the Bulldogs. During the streak, Pittsnogle hit a pair of three point shots, then snared an offensive rebound and scored to give WVU a 56-50 win.
The Martinsbug, W. Va. native totalled 15 points on the evening. He hit 6-11 from the field, which included three of seven from three point range.
Pittsnogle also showed some muscle on the boards, grabbing six rebounds and blocking a shot. He also added an assist.
