Bryant Suspended

West Virginia point guard Darryl "Truck" Bryant was suspended on Wednesday after being arraigned in Monongalia County court on four misdemeanor charges related to leaving the scene of an auto accident.

WVU head basketball coach Bob Huggins released a prepared statement noting Bryant's indefinite suspension from all team activities, but did not mention the misdemeanor charges, which were first reported by WVMetroNews.

No further details concerning the accident were available, including the location or identities of others involved in the incident.

Bryant recently returned to Morgantown after a trying for USA Basketball's 19 and Under team.

Bryant joins injured point guard Joe Mazzulla on WVU's suspended list. Mazzulla was suspended after being charged with domestic battery in April.
