Another Setback

Joe Alexander's NBA career suffered another setback when he reinjured his hamstring during rehab earlier this week.

Alexander, a second year pro out of West Virginia, originally injured his right hamstring during the offseason. He had been making good progress, but the latest problem will keep him out for the next eight to twelve weeks.

Following an up and down rookie season, Alexander showed more consistency during the Milwaukee Bucks' summer league, when he averaged 16.6 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.

Conflicting reports exist as to the severity of the injury. Some say that it is a strain, while others are reporting a possible partial tear. An update is expected from the team later today or tomorrow.
