Ebanks Gets League Honor

Despite playing with a badly bruised left hand that severely limits his game, Devin Ebanks put together a double-double week as West Virginia moved to 10-0 on the season.

Devin Ebanks averaged 18.0 points and 15.0 rebounds in a 2-0 week that included a 76-66 win over No. 15 Mississippi and a 90-84 overtime victory at Seton Hall. The 6-9 sophomore posted 14 points and 13 rebounds against Mississippi. He matched his career scoring high with 22 points against Seton Hall and pulled down a game-high 17 rebounds.

For the season, Ebanks is now averaging 13.2 points per game, good for third place on the team. He has a team best 9.0 rebounds per outing, and is second on the team in blocked shots with nine. His 80% mark from the free throw line (20-25) also tops the squad.
