Learning Experience

Georgia defensive back Qudral Forte recaps his visit to West Virginia.

"My visit went very well," Qudral Forte told BlueGoldNews.com following his trip to the WVU campus. "I got to see a lot of the facilities and the school, and we met the professors and talked a lot about the academics at the school. We also went to the basketball game. That was a good experience too -- I liked the team, and I really liked the fans there."

Although the Mountaineers eventually dropped a one-point decision to Syracuse in that contest, it didn't appear to affect Forte's enthusiasm about WVU.

"I learned a lot about the town too, and it was bigger and there was more to do than what I thought," Forte said. "It was kind of similar to where I live down here. I live in a big town, but it had that same sort of feel to it."

Forte added that he hung out with "most of the team" during his visit, and named Noel Devine and Bruce Irvin as a couple of the players who stood out to him on his visit.

Although he was impressed by what he saw, Forte did not make a commitment. He still plans to take his final three visits before making his college choice.
