WVU - Georgetown Game Moved

Big East Commissioner Michael Tranghese has announced date changes to two men's basketball games in light of the rescheduling of the Villanova at Seton Hall game, which was made due to inclement weather.

The Georgetown at West Virginia game, originally scheduled for Wednesday, March 5, has been moved to Monday, March 3. It will be the televised as part of ESPN's Big Monday package at 7 p.m.

"We appreciate tremendously the cooperation of the athletic directors and the head coaches in this matter," said Tranghese. "When the Villanova-Seton Hall game had to be placed on the 27th, it meant Villanova would have to play three road games in five days. These changes help alleviate that hardship."

Additionally, the Villanova at Boston College contest, originally scheduled for Monday, Mar. 3, will be played on Tuesday, Mar. 4, at 7:30 p.m.
