West Virginia's starting defensive line appears set with Chris Neild, Julian Miller and Scooter Berry entrenched at the top spots, but there is plenty of room for those battling for backup spots.

One of the top players fighting for time is redshirt freshman Will Clarke, who has all of the tools to be an excellent defender for the Mountaineers. A tall and rangy player with a huge wingspan, Clarke is the prototype of the defensive lineman that the coaching staff would love to deploy over the coming years.

Although he did not play last year, Clarke traveled on every road trip with the Mountaineer squad, and thus has a bit of an idea of the gameday routine that he will likely be a bigger part of this year.

In this interview, the friendly Clarke discusses his progress and goals for the season, and lists the biggest challenge for his continued improvement.
