Higdon Headed To Hawaii

Hawaii has picked up a commitment from Hollywood Chaminade Madonna cornerback Barry Higdon. The player is currently on an official visit to Hawaii, but notified FoxSportsNext of his pledge via text message.

Hollywood Chaminade Madonna cornerback Barry Higdon will be playing his college football for Hawaii, the player stated Saturday morning.

"I have committed to Hawaii, and you can put that news out there now," Higdon said via text message Saturday morning.

Higdon, 6-foot-3, 180-pounds, also held offers from Bowling Green, Toledo and Akron. He impressed last summer at the Ohio State summer camp, which is where he picked up the three MAC offers.

With great size and quick feet, Higdon is a player that has a lot of potential, as teams are always looking for length at the cornerback position.
