Thomas also holds offers from Florida A&M, Georgia State, Kennesaw State and Kent State, but the one from WKU made an impact on the 5-foot-11, 195-pound prospect.
"My first reaction was like I was in dream I couldn't believe it," he explained. "I was extremely happy that I received an offer WKU, a big D1 college."
Impressed with the direction of the WKU program, Thomas is looking forward to learning more about the school.
"What I want to know is about the academic," he said. "The major I go will help me to be a successful young man and I want to know more about the school."
He plans to learn more by making a couple visits to Bowling Green in the coming months.
"I'm trying make a visit this summer and during the football season," he said.
The recruiting process is a lengthy journey, but the Hilltoppers have risen to the top of Thomas' current list, who favors, "WKU, Kent State, Keenesaw State" at this stage.
