Raleigh, N.C., Knightdale High School shooting guard Dondre Griffin has more than 20 schools that have already offered him a scholarship, including Western Kentucky University.
The 6-foot-4 Griffin said he is in the process of narrowing his list.
But he knows three schools he will visit because he's already been to James Madison, will visit Appalachian State this weekend and will be in Bowling Green for an official visit next weekend.
"I'm working on cutting my list down now," Griffin tells WKUInsider.
Griffin said he also has "a bunch" of schools that have not offered still showing him interest, including Butler, Wichita State, American, Wright State, Wake Forest, Boston U., and Florida.
As a junior in high school, Griffin led Knightdale to a 20-win season and in the spring and summer showed a lot of versatility with Team Felton. He had a gamein July with the WKU staff on hand with 27 points and six assists.
"I think most coaches like me because I can do multiple things on the floor," he said. "As a big guard, I can rebound, I can facilitate and I can score. I can do a lot of things on the floor.
"I'm a combo guard in college. I'll just do what my team needs."
