Western Kentucky football coach Jeff Brohm and his staff hosted a handful of recruits last weekend for the Miami of Ohio game in Bowling Green. The visitors saw a WKU blowout over the Redhawks.

And the reaction from the visitors was very positive.

Two of the visitors were commitments and several others are top targets for the Toppers. Here's some reaction:

Seth Joest, Woodford County, OL (WKU commitment)

"It was a great visit," Joest said. "WKU played amazing and it was fun to watch them beat a team with ease. The thing I liked best while down there this time was being a part of the WKU family, I felt at home and could talk with any coaches and just have fun with it all."

Drew O'Bryan, Ashland Blazer, LB (WKU commitment)

"It was great and the best part was just seeing the team and how well they played."

Lamarius Kinslow, Fern Creek, LB-TE (WKU commitment)

"It was great and when I got there it was already 14-0."

Woodford Lankford, Lexington Catholic, OL (Class of 2017)

"The visit to WKU was great. Walking around some of the campus I was able to see how nice it was. One of the best looking campus' I have seen. The atmosphere around there on game day was awesome."

Cole Garrison, Pinson, Ala., Clay-Chalkville, OL (Class of 2016)

"The visit went really well," Garrison said. "I enjoyed the game day atmosphere and really liked the weight room. I see Western Kentucky being a really good place. . . . Murray State, UT-Martin, Mercer, Georgia State, and Troy are the ones recruiting me the most. And coach Ellis said they were excited about me and getting me to a game."

LaBryan Ray, Madison, Ala., James Clemens, DE (Class of 2017)

"I had a lot of fun," Ray said. "The best part of was probably the pregame when we got to walk on the field. They told me that they are interested in me. Some other schools that are recruiting me are Louisville, Duke, Southern Miss, Troy University and Mississippi State."

Keyron Catlett, Christian County, WR (Class of 2017)

"I loved it," Catlett said. "And I loved how everyone can out and supported the team (the fan base) and it was just exciting. If everything goes as planned the next couple weeks I will be back for another visit."

Jamale Carothers, Bowling Green, RB

"The visit went well! I really liked the fan support WKU had this weekend. And WKU played a great game as a team."
