Monday morning brought news that 2016 Tallahassee (Fla.) Godby guard Quan Jackson, a holder of double-digit scholarship offers, made the decision to trim his list to just three schools.
The 6-foot-3 guard announced the trio of schools via social media on Twitter.
"I wanted to say thanks to everybody," he posted with his list of schools on Twitter. "It's been a fun long ride, but I have trimmed my list down to three."
Western Kentucky, which extended its offer in recent days, Bowling Green and Georgia Southern made the cut. Jackson also held scholarship offers from Chattanooga, FIU, Florida A&M, Gardner-Webb, North Florida, Tennessee Tech and others.
Jackson also announced that he'll make his college choice on October 24.
As a junior, Jackson averaged 13 points a game and was named All-Big Bend Co-Player of the Year after guiding Godby to an undefeated and Class 4A State Championship.
