After collecting over 20 scholarship offers, the 6-foot-4 prospect announced on Tuesday, via Twitter, that he has reduced his list of schools to six and will announce his college choice at the end of the month.
Appalachain State, Hofstra, James Madison, Murray State, Western Kentucky and Wofford have made his final list and he'll make his commitment on October 30 at his school.
Until then Griffin will continue to research each of favorites. He's visited James Madison and Appalachain State. He'll begin an official visit with WKU on October 16.
As a junior in high school, Griffin led Knightdale to a 20-win season and in the spring and summer showed a lot of versatility with Team Felton. He had a gamein July with the WKU staff on hand with 27 points and six assists.
"I think most coaches like me because I can do multiple things on the floor," he said. "As a big guard, I can rebound, I can facilitate and I can score. I can do a lot of things on the floor.
"I'm a combo guard in college. I'll just do what my team needs."
