Western Kentucky continues to enjoy success in Conference USA. With its 55-30 win at Old Dominion on Saturday, the Hilltoppers have now won eight consecutive games against league foes and are currently tied for the East Division lead with Marshall (8-1, 5-0)
- This was the eighth-straight win for WKU over a C-USA opponent, which is the longest streak since winning nine consecutive against Sun Belt opponents across years of 2011-2012.
- The 5-0 start in conference play is the first for WKU in the FBS era and first since going 7-0 in OVC play in 2000.
- The seven wins through nine game are the most in FBS era and most since the 2004 campaign.
