Pembroke Pines (Fla.) Flanagan wide receiver Jahcour Pearson commits to WKU

Pembroke Pines (Fla.) Flanagan wide receiver Jahcour Pearson committed to WKU on Thursday afternoon.

WKU head coach Jeff Brohm received a verbal commitment from Pembroke Pines, Fla reciever Jahcour Pearson on Thursday afternoon.

Pearson, who says that he's been talking with the WKU staff "for a couple of weeks," committed to the HIlltoppers over Northern Illinois, Western Michigan and others.

"(I was) looking for somewhere I can call home," he told WKU Insider. "Also, somewhere that I can see myself having a lot of success."

The 5'9, 175-pound prospect is quite familiar with success. He was a first team All-Broward selection after helping Flanagan High to the school's first state championship.  As a senior, Pearson hauled in 43 catches for 645 yds and six touchdowns.

"I love how they spread the ball around," he said.
