Cincinnati Moeller defensive tackle Jeremy Meiser has seen his list of scholarship offers climb into double-digits and recently added Western Kentucky to his consistently growing list of opportunities.
"I think it's exciting, and a once in a life time opportunity," Meiser said of the recruiting process. "Yet at the same time it can be pretty frustrating."
The WKU staff has been recruiting the 6-foot-3, 285-pound prospect for awhile, including recently welcoming him to The Hill for an impactful visit.
"I was pretty excited," told told WKU Insider of the Hilltoppers scholarship offer. "I didn't know a ton about them before this year, but after visiting on a junior day I realized that they have a winning program."
Meiser also includes Ball State, Eastern Michigan, Navy, Nevada, and Old Dominion among his list of offers. Additional offers are still likely to come and while he's not ready to name a current leader, there are a few programs that appear to be edging out in front.
"I don't have a leader at the moment, but I really like Ball State and Old Dominion. Nevada is also one I've been considering. Now that WKU offered they will be one to look at as well."
Meiser hopes to makes his college decision prior to starting his senior season on the field.
"I plan on making a decision when ever it feels right, if at all possible it will be before my senior season."
