Loxahatchee (Fla.) Seminole Ridge defensive tackle Dyllon Lyons added an offer from WKU in mid-June, bringing the total number of schools to do so to five, including a pair of Conference USA rivals.
"I was very excited," said Lyons, who was informed of the offer over the phone.
The Hilltoppers join Marshall, Middle Tennessee, Southern Illinois and Robert Morris in extending a scholarship to the 6-foot-3, 275-pound prospect.
"They liked my motor and how I never slowed down and my attitude on and off the field," Lyons told WKU Insider.
Lyons, who said that he is "loving" the recruiting process, currently holds no favorites, but hopes to visit The Hill during the coming weeks.
"(I have) no favorites and I'm hoping to go up to WKU over summer."
