2017 prospect Jay Jay Chandler has added a WKU offer

WKU has extended a scholarship offer to top 100 guard Jay Jay Chandler

One of the top-shooting guards nationally for the class of 2017 now holds a WKU scholarship offer.

Still gaining momentum from the commitment of center Mitchell Robinson, Scout.com's No. 12 ranked player in the '17 class, WKU continues to build relationships with a few other top 100 prospects, including Jay Jay Chandler of Katy (Tex.) Cinco Ranch.

Familiar with new Hilltoppers head coach Rick Stansbury from his time at Texas A&M, the 6-foot-3, 170-pound four-star prospect has added a WKU offer to his list.  Georgia Tech, Houston and Oklahoma are also among those to extend an offer to Chandler.

Ranked No. 86 nationally and as the No. 19 shooting guard in his class, Chandler, who plays for the Houston Hoops on the AAU circuit, recently announced that he will be announcing his top ten schools soon and the Hilltoppers are expected to make the cut.
