Among the offensive line prospects that the WKU coaching staff is keeping their eye on during this recruiting period is Cincinnati Moeller's Jacob Gall.
The 6-foot-3, 300-pound prospect recently made the trip south from the Queen City to The Hill for a WKU camp and left a strong impression.
"I went to the camp and I did very well, the coaches thought so, too," Gall told WKU Insider. "WKU is interested in me, they told me they are waiting on tackles right now before they advance with me."
Gall currently holds a number of scholarship offers including Toledo, Kent State, Air Force, Army, Wofford, Mercer and EKU.
"I have a few more offers but those are the ones showing the most interest," he said.
As he progresses through the recruiting process, Gall keeps focused on the goal of playing college ball and building relationships.
"The recruiting process has its ups and downs but in the end it's all about getting to play college football and getting my college paid for. It's also about creating relationships with coaches that you could be working with. These are the people you interact with daily at the next level so you they better be someone you like and can trust."
Having made multiple visits to schools thus far, Gall, who currently claims no favorites, admits that his time on The Hill was impactful.
"I really liked the campus, one of the best I've been to."
