Western Kentucky University football coach Jeff Brohm has another quarterback for his future roster.
Brohm has landed a commitment from Cumming, Ga., South Forsyth High School signal caller Davis Shanley, who was a standout at WKU's satellite camp in Tennessee in June.
The 6-foot-2, 175-pound prospect also had attended a Hilltoppers Junior Day in April. He picked WKU over 11 other offers, including Furman, Lafayette, Samford, Lehigh, Chattanooga, Kent State, Eastern Kentucky, FAMU, Mercer, Tennessee Tech and Old Dominion.
As a junior, Shanley threw for 2,375 yards and 25 touchdowns as a junior, while also adding an additional 715 yards and eight scores on the ground. He was named Offensive Player of the Year for the area.
Shanley is commitment No. 10 in the Class of 2017 for the Toppers.
