Tampa Bay, Fla., defensive end Paul Taylor committed to WKU on Tuesday

WKU added commitment No.13 in the class of 2017 on Tuesday evening.

Tampa (Fla.) Tampa Bay Technical Paul Taylor, a 6-foot-5, 230-pound defensive end announced via the social media platform Twitter his decision.

"After talking it over with my coaches and family I made the choice to commit to Western Kentucky University."

Taylor also collected scholarship offers from Bowling Green, FIU, Kentucky, Louisville, Marshall, Rutgers and others during the recruiting process.

Scout.com Florida Recruiting Analyst Corey Bender likes the potential of Taylor.

"Raw and needs to add weight/get stronger, but really gets up the field with a quick first step," he said.  "Intriguing size and frame as well, so there's a good amount of potential with Taylor."

Taylor is fourth member of WKU's recruiting class of 2017 from the Sunshine State.
