Nation's No.2 overall prospect in 2018 visit The Hill on Friday

Hilltopper Hysteria will not only provide WKU fans with an opportunity to check out Rick Stansbury's new look basketball team, but it will also serve as an excellent recruiting tool by the program's first-year head coach.

Among the recruits expected to visit The Hill on Friday is one of the nation's top prospects in the class of 2018.

Scout.com National Recruiting Analyst Evan Daniels reported that Spartanburg, S.C. five-star forward Zion Williamson is planning to attend the event and spend time visiting the coaching staff and campus.

A junior, the 6-foot-6, 225-pound Williamson is rated as the nation's No. 2 power forward and overall prospect in his class.

His list of scholarship offers includes Arizona, Florida, Georgia Tech, Miami, North Carolina, Oregon and South Carolina.

Hilltopper Hysteria, the annual tip-off event for Hilltopper and Lady Topper Basketball, begins at 6p.m. on Friday evening in E.A. Diddle Arena.  Parking and admission are free for the event.
