Russellville, Ala., offensive lineman Austin Stidham has verbally committed to Western Kentucky. He's the 18th commitment in the Class of 2017 for the Toppers.

Western Kentucky's football staff has scored again in the state of Alabama.

The Toppers have landed another offensive lineman from Alabama after 2017 prospect Austin Stidham gave his verbal commitment to Jeff Brohm and his staff on Monday evening.

Stidham is a 6-foot-5, 265-pound tackle from Russellville, Ala.

The 18th commitment in the '18 class, Stidham and recent commitment Patrick Nuss are the two prospects from Alabama. The Toppers now have four offensive linemen in the class, including Stidham, Nuss, Ballard's D.J. Washington and Caleb Etheridge of Forsyth, Ga.

The last three commitments have been offensive linemen.
