Future Western Kentucky quarterback Davis Shanley enjoyed his latest trip to The Hill.
The South Forsyth, Ga., prospect was among the group of prospects that visited WKU for its home win over Old Dominion last weekend. He spent time visiting with the coaches, checking out the campus and enjoying the homecoming atmosphere for the Hilltoppers thumping of the visiting Monarchs.
"Visit last weekend went great," he told WKU Insider. "Was great to see the coaches again and I loved the atmosphere on campus."
The 6-foot-2, 185-pound Hilltopper commitment has also become somewhat of a recruiter himself.
"I talk to a lot targets for WKU and especially with the current commits we have," he said, confirming that he's building relationships for a smooth transition as a rookie.
Shanley, a dual-threat quarterback, has thrown for over 1,500 yards as a senior.
