Powder Springs, Ga., offensive lineman Jalen Jackson committed to Western Kentucky on Tuesday evening

WKU adds a seventh commitment from the Peach State

Western Kentucky added an impressive big body to its 2017 recruiting class on Tuesday evening.

6-foot-3, 260-pound guard Jalen Jackson announced via Twitter that he had made the decision to become a Hilltopper.

Jackson also considered scholarship offers from Arkansas State, Colorado State, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Illinois, Southern Miss, Tulane, UAB and others prior to committing to WKU.

Jackson helps continue a positive trend for WKU's recruiting efforts in the state of Georgia.  He's the second consecutive product from the Peach State to pledge to the Hilltoppers and the seventh overall.
