It was a rewarding weekend for WKU football.
With the Hilltoppers continuing its Boca Raton Bowl preparation, the coaching staff also hosted a few prospects on official visitors.
NE Oklahoma A&M defensive tackle Jaylon George extended his verbal commitment to the Hilltoppes staff before completing his official visit.
"It was great," George said on Sunday. "It was a family environment there. I fell in love with it. The campus, the atmosphere and the people were all great."
The 6-foot-3, 265-pound defensive tackle recorded 77 tackles, including 9.5 sacks and 12 tackles for a loss last season and earned All-Conference honors.
George will have three years of eligibility remaining.
