Orlando (Fla.) Lake Nona wide receiver Alex Marshall was among the first to commit to Western Kentucky's 2017 recruiting class when he pledged to the Hilltoppers in early June.
In a few weeks the 6-foot-3, 180-pound prospect will trip to Bowling Green for his official visit. He'll be part of what is expected to be a sizeable group of current commits and prospects.
"I do believe most of the commits are all coming to The Hill Jan., 20-22," he confirmed with WKU Insider.
In addition to gaining an even better understanding of what his future school and program has to offer, Marshall is also looking forward to spending time with first-year head coach Mike Sanford and the new Hilltopper staff.
"I believe that coach Sanford is a great guy," he said. "I have talked to him multiple times and I'm loving what he is telling me with his plans for the program are. I'm excited to get up there and get to work with him."
Under the direction of Sanford, the WKU offense is expected to remain high-octane.
