Among the first commitments in the Mike Sanford era at Western Kentucky, Jakairi Moses made his official visit with his future school over the weekend.
"It was cool," he told WKU Insider. "It was nice to meet some cool people."
The 5-foot-9, 185-pound running back committed to the Hilltoppers program on Jan. 12, providing the new coaching staff with an elusive and speedy athlete that can be a threat in both the ground and air game.
"They said I'm mainly a running back but they going to use me in the empty package, also," he said.
A two-time All-County selection and an All-State honoree following his senior campaign, Moses chose the Hilltoppers over Temple, Navy, Marshall and Appalachian State. He finished his final year of high school ball with 974 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns.
