Christian County (Ky.) wide receiver Keyron Catlett took another step towards the beginning of his Western Kentucky career last weekend with his official visit.
The 5-foot-10, 170-pound athlete spent time building relationships with his future Hilltoppers coaches and teammates during his latest visit on The Hill.
"It was great," he told WKU Insider.
While he pledged to WKU during the prior staff's run, Catlett has been impressed by the first-year head coach Mike Sanford and his new staff.
"They are great guys, with great hearts," he said.
The Offensive MVP of the Best of the Bluegrass all-star game and second team All-State selection, the expectations are high for Catlett. The Hopkinsville product said the immediate expectations are "crazy," but "I can handle it."
Catlett finished his career with more than 3,300 receiving yards, placing him among the state's top 10 all-time leaders.
