Kyle Bailey tells WKU Insider that two programs stand out

Among the large group of recruits visiting Western Kentucky last weekend was three-star linebacker Kyle Bailey.

"It went really well," he said of his time in Bowling Green.

Bailey left his weekend official visit impressed by the direction of the Hilltoppers program, the campus and the WKU coaching staff.

"Great campus, players, coaches, and facilities," he told WKU Insider.

The 6-foot, 200-pound Bailey is rated as No. 42 outside linebacker in the South region and No. 103 nationally by  Vanderbilt, Virginia, Tulane and NC State are among the programs that have expressed an interest in him, but with National Signing Day quickly approaching two programs have risen to the top.

"Western Kentucky and Samford," Bailey said of his favorites, further adding that a college choice is on the way.  "[I hope to know] by tomorrow."
