Bremen, Ga., prospect Kyle Bailey committed to Western Kentucky on Thursday night

Following an official visit and days of consideration, Bremen, Ga., linebacker Kyle Bailey committed to Western Kentucky on Thursday night.

"I'm very excited to get up there and start grinding," he told WKU Insider.

A three-star outside linebacker, Bailey, who flipped his commitment from Samford to WKU, is the 15th member of the Hilltoppers 2017 recruiting class.  The 6-foot, 200-pound prospect also considered Minnesota, Tulane, Vanderbilt, Virginia and others during the recruiting process.

Following his weekend visit, Bailey explained that he was impressed by the "great campus, players, coaches, and facilities."

Also a standout running back for Bremen, Bailey rushed for more 1,700 yards as a senior earning First Team All-State and Region Offensive MVP of the Year honors. He established a new school single-game record when he rushed for 289-yards in a late season contest.  He was also a Region First Team selection after registering 88 tackles, including 14 for a loss.
