Hilltoppers welcome talented group of prospects to The Hill this weekend

WKU Insider provides a look at the prospects visiting the Hilltopper program this weekend

With the final weekend of the recruiting period prior to National Signing Day upon the coaching staff, Western Kentucky welcomes a group of prospects for official visits.

During their stay on campus, the visitors will spend time touring the campus and football facitilies, strengthen relationships with the coaching staff and attend the Hilltoppers basketball game at Diddle Arena on Saturday afternoon.

Here's a look at the recruits on The Hill this weekend:

Junior college tight end Mik'Quan Deane, who has drawn attention from a number of P5 programs, is a tall target in the passing game.


A defensive line All-State performer on a state title squad, DeAngelo Malone projects as a defensive end or outside linebacker.


Montgomery (Ala.) Davis offensive lineman Preston Mixon is considering programs from the Big Ten, C-USA, AAC and others.


Long snapper Ben Reeder began his official visit on Thursday evening. He's also considering North Carolina and South Carolina.


WKU offered three-star safety Latheron Rogers-Anderson earlier in the week and the Hilltoppers are now among his favorites.


Dallas, Ga., cornerback recently decommitted from Troy.  Also considering Marshall, Buffalo and others.


Atlanta (Ga.) Grady athlete could play receiver, running back or defensive back on the college level.


Louisville Trinity offensive lineman Cole Spencer picked up a scholarship offer from WKU earlier this week.


WKU commit Steven Witchoskey has been committed to the Hilltoppers since August.
