Atlanta (Ga.) Grady athlete Jacquez Sloan made an official visit with Western Kentucky over the weekend and extended his commitment to Hilltoppers head coach Mike Sanford before leaving town.
"It went perfect," he told WKU Insider. "I just committed."
Sloan clicked quickly with the players and coaches during his visit. He was also impressed by his on-campus experience and what the school has to offer.
"The Players I met and the coaching staff," he said of what impacted him the most. "I just felt very comfortable."

With 4.39 speed in the 40, the 5-foot-10, 165-pound prospect has impact speed at multiple positions, including in the return game.
"They want me to come in and use my speed to get the defense on their toes," he said.
Sloan also considered Georgia State, Middle Tennessee and others prior to committing to WKU.
