BIO: Jakairi Moses of Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.) Dwyer is a two-time All-County selection and an All-State honoree. The 5-foot-9, 185-pound running back finished his final year of high school ball with 974 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns.
RECRUITMENT: Moses chose the Hilltoppers over Temple, Navy, Marshall and Appalachian State.
WHY WKU: The opportunity to become an immediate performer in the WKU backfield as a freshman and his relationship with the new coaching staff were key to attracting Moses to The Hill.
EVALUATION: He's a shifty all-purpose back that has the ability to make defenders look silly when operating in space. He's a slippery runner that accelerates through the hole in a hurry, but Moses also does a nice job of stopping on a dime and changing speeds to gain the upper-hand on defenders.
QUOTABLE: "He said that he thinks I'm going to be a big player coming in because of my explosiveness and speed," said Moses.
BOTTOM LINE: An early commit in the 2017 class, Moses adds vital depth at the position. His ability to create the big play gives him an opportunity to see early action at WKU.
