Following a successful 2017 recruiting haul from the state of Georgia, the Western Kentucky coaching staff continues to scour the area for talent in the 2018 class.
The latest to grab the attention of the Hilltoppers program is Hogansville Calloway defensive lineman Lichon Terrell. The 6-foot-2, 250-pound three-star prospect recently picked up an offer from WKU.
"It's was surprising," he told WKU Insider. "It came out of nowhere. I didn't even know that they were recruiting me."
Terrell learned about his new offer from his high school coach and doesn't "know much" about the WKU program yet.
"I don't know a lot, but coach Lindsey suppose to call me soon," he said.
Projected as a linebacker by some, Terrell has played all spots along the defensive line, as well as lining up at tight end on the offensive side of the ball.
In addition to WKU, Terrell also holds a scholarship offer from Tulane and is drawing interest from Georgia Tech, Louisville, North Carolina and others.
