Hilltoppers won final two games of the regular season

WKU's opening-round game will be streamed online by Campus Insiders from Legacy Arena at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex.

Western Kentucky will enter next week's Conference USA tournament as the No. 8 seed and will face No. 9 seed UTSA to begin the league event on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m.

The meeting will be a rematch of a Jan. 28 contest that saw the Hilltoppers claim a 81-66 home win.  Justin Johnson paced the Hilltoppers with a double-double, scoring 21 points and pulling down 10 rebounds to lead WKU to the win.

The Hilltoppers, winners of two straight to close the regular season, reached the C-USA Tournament semifinals last season.

The winner of the WKU-UTSA game will face top-seeded Middle Tennessee at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the quarterfinals Thursday on American Sports Network.

The opening-round game will be streamed online by Campus Insiders from Legacy Arena at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex.
