South Oldham High School quarterback Drew Zaubi is still early in the recruiting process.
But he had a memorable trip to Bowling Green on Saturday, taking in the Western Kentucky University Junior Day.
"I had a great time," Zaubi said. "All the coaches knew who I was before I went down and I had a great visit with them.
"I can't wait to go back."
The 6-foot-4, 200-pound Zaubi is still looking for his first Division I offer, but is hearing from a lot of schools.
Zaubi said he's heard from WKU, along with Bowling Green, Miami (Ohio), Eastern Kentucky, Ball State, Bucknell, Purdue, Penn, Princeton, Southern Illinois, Old Dominion and Eastern Michigan among several others.
He plans on taking more visits this spring and summer.
As a junior, Zaubi led South Oldham to a 12-2 record and completed 111 of 210 passes for 2,317 yards and 32 touchdowns. He only had nine interceptions and ran for 367 yards and 11 TDs. He threw for 1,240 yards and 16 TDs and rushed for five more as a sophomore.
