Masillon, Oh., quarterback Jaret Pallotta picked up his first FBS scholarship offer on Thursday afternoon.
The 6-foot-5 signal-caller informed WKU Insider of his latest offering.
"I just received my first FBS offer from Western Kentucky," he said.
Pallotta, who also holds an offer from Eastern Kentucky, learned of the Hilltoppers offer while speaking with head coach Mike Sanford and assistant Geoff Dartt.
"I did FaceTime with their head coach and offensive line coach," he said. "I am very excited about the offer."
WKU's success of developing quarterbacks in high-powered offenses has grabbed the attention of Pallotta.
"They had a great season last year and they really focus on the development of the quarterback," he said of WKU. "The head coach was a previous QB coach and the football program is on the rise."
Cincinnati, Indiana, Louisville, Purdue, Toledo and a number of others are expressing an interest in Pallotta. Recent visits include Louisville and Toledo, with a trip to Bowling Green now on his upcoming schedule.
"I am planning on going to their junior day on April 22nd," he said.
As a junior, the 6-foot-5 Pallotta threw for 18 touchdowns with a school record 2,041 yards to earn All-League, All-County and All NEO Inland District honors.
