Four-star point guard could visit the Hilltoppers program soon four-star point guard participated in the Jordan Brand Classic last weekend

Former Georgetown commitment Tremont Waters now has Western Kentucky among the schools that he's strongly considering and could make a visit soon.

A four-star prospect, Waters is rated as nation's No. 35 overall player and the No. 10 point guard in the country.

The 5-foot-11, 165-point point guard committed to the Hoya program last October, but was granted his release following the firing of John Thompson III.  He considered Duke, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Syracuse and a host of others prior to his initial decision.

In addition to considering WKU, Waters also has Creighton, Georgetown, Indiana, Syracuse and others following his release.

A product of West Haven (Conn.) Notre Dame Prep, Waters was selected as Connecticut's Gatorade Player of the Year and the New Haven Player of the Year after averaging 25 points, 4.6 assists and 4.6 steals per game.
