Behind explosive running from sophomore Quinton Baker, the White team cruised to a 45-13 victory over the Red squad in Western Kentucky's annual spring game on Saturday afternoon.
Baker, a product of Ashland Blazer, broke free for touchdown runs of 38, 74 and 47 yards, while Drew Eckels threw for about 200 yards to guide the White team to an easy victory.
Despite the loss and only playing in the first half, Red team quarterback Mike White was very efficient throwing the ball. He threw for more than 135 yards, with nearly 100 yards of that going to Quin Jernighan.
Head coach Mike Sanford, along with White, Baker and senior defensive lineman Chris Johnson visited with the media.
