Hoover, Ala., offensive lineman Mike Maye recently added a scholarship offer from Western Kentucky and already anticipates making a trip to visit The Hill.
"They think I'm a great fit both playing wise and personality wise," he told WKU Insider. "I'm interested in what they have to offer though coach said some really good things on the phone."
The Hilltoppers join a lengthy list of programs to offer the 6-foot-3, 280-pound tackle. Arkansas State, Florida Atlantic, Georgia Tech, Southern Miss, Troy and Tulane are among his list of offers.
WKU assistant Ryan Mahaffey is the primary contact with Maye and will likely welcome the impressive prospect on a visit on June 16.
"I want to see what they specialize in education wise and some more about the football aspect," Maye said.
Maye was an All-State honoree as a junior.
