Western Kentucky added a commitment from the Peach State on Friday evening when Tucker, Ga., linebacker Tre Leslie announced his commitment.
The 6-foot, 210-pound prospect also considered scholarship offers from Appalachian State, Colorado State, Georgia Southern, Marshall, Middle Tennessee, Southern Miss and others before making his pledge with the Hilltoppers program.
Leslie, who has made multiple trips to The Hill, told WKU Insider that he was impressed by the facilities and the growing relationship with the coaching staff.
A teammate at Tucker, linebacker Gerry Vaughn, is also strong considering WKU, with Leslie admitting that it is "a very strong possibility" that the two could end up at the same school "because we play with so much so chemistry and we have been playing together for our whole high school career."
Leslie becomes the third member of the Hilltoppers 2018 recruiting class and the first from the state of Georgia.
