A Western Kentucky scholarship offer will result in a visit to The Hill from Kennesaw (Ga.) North Cobb linebacker Trey Urquhart.
The increasing interest from the Hilltoppers staff has the 6-foot, 195-pound outside linebacker desiring to learn more about the Conference USA power.
"I'm very excited about the Western Kentucky offer," he said. "I don't know to much about their program but I am going to take a visit soon. Sometime in July."
WKU assistant Jami DeBerry began building a relationship with Urquhart a few months ago and has remained in frequent contact.
"We've been in touch a lot every since spring football and he would always tell me how much interest the coaching staff have in me," he said. "I would say our relationship is steadily building."
Urquhart, who also plays running back at North Cobb, registered 69 tackles, including five sacks, last fall. He also had nine pass breakups and four interceptions.
He's also collected offers from Arkansas State, Appalachian State, Florida Atlantic, Ohio and Western Carolina. A number of ACC and SEC programs are keeping tab on him.
"The recruiting process is already starting to get hectic," he said.
