WKU's preparation for the Trojans is underway and the team had an intense practice Tuesday. (Practice Photos)

If Tuesday's practice is any indicator of how the Hilltoppers are approaching preparation for the Trojans then good things are possibilities come Saturday.

Head David Coach Elson commented, after practice, that today's practice might have been the best Tuesday practice all season. The team looked very fresh bouncing around and searching for collisions.

Coaches will not have to do any special motivating this week to ensure focus and concentration. This is the Hilltoppers championship week and they seek to earn their first team goal of the season by beating Troy and logging their seventh win of the season.

SR #10 Marion Rumph was a welcome sight to see back in pads and he is hoping to contribute this Saturday for the first time since the Middle Tennessee game.

There is still much preparation to accomplish this week but players are certainly determined to be ready for a special Homecoming game this Saturday.

Game time is set for 4:00 P.M. (CST), Saturday November 10th. It's homecoming and the Hilltoppers opponent is the Troy Trojans. Be sure to arrive early because Houchens Industries L.T. Smith stadium is going to be bursting at the seams. The attendance record will be shattered and fans are going to be rabid to cheer the Hilltoppers to victory at kickoff. The atmosphere is going to be out of the world.

This Saturday is exactly what WKU's intentions for moving to division one football were all about!
