The strongest football players will compete at the "Night Of Champions" strength competition.

On March 6th, WKU will host the "Night of Champions" and the Hilltopper's strongest football players will be putting on awesome displays of strength. Around twenty players will be competing for the honor of being the strongest Hilltopper in each event.

Coach Jim Nowell has been putting the team through winter strength and conditioning and I expect to see many records fall early and often. The Hilltoppers have a host of strong players but I would not be surprised to see offensive lineman Cody Hughes come away with several records bearing his name.

I have no doubt the players will be jacked up with fans packed in Diddle. With fans, cheering the players on, they will have enough adrenaline pumping to lift the arena.

This event is a treat Hilltopper fans have never had in the past and hopefully will continue as an annual tradition for years to come.  Admission is free and the atmosphere is going to be spectacular.
