Jon Drach Postgame Comments

On Saturday, the Broncos lost a heartbreaker to the Purdue Boilermakers 24-28. An obviously upset and frustrated Jon Drach addressed the media about his thoughts on the game and the performance of the Broncos.

Jon's thoughts on the losing the game.

"We had a chance to end the game and we just have to finish. Can't let the chances slip through your fingers, and that's the whole game."

His thoughts on the Broncos taking the lead in the first half.

"We got a great kick return out of Greg Jennings that put us in great field position, they had just scored. We wanted to come out and answer and we came out and answered. The defense got us the ball back again and we answered again."

Thoughts on the Broncos final possession.

"They went down and scored. We were trying to win. We were trying to take the ball down and win. We didn't do it. We missed some opportunities and dropped some passes, bad throws and bad reads, we just didn't do it."

Reply to a question asking how frustrating it was to lose this game.

"How frustrating? We lost. Nobody likes to lose."

Thoughts on the Broncos putting up over 400 yards of offense

"I don't feel good about it. We lost. We didn't put enough on the board. That's the bottom line. I don't care if there's 800 yards on the scoreboard, we lost."
